| RETIREMENT NOTICES: Zion Church Council has accepted with regret and best wishes the resignation notices of Pastor Ron Bestvater and Terry Afseth effective the end of December 2025. We are grateful for their years of service and ask for the congregation’s prayers regarding plans going forward. God Bless you Pastor Ron and Terry! Please stay for coffee and cake with the Bestvater family following the service Sunday, December 28th to celebrate Ron’s final service before retirement. Congregational celebration of Pastor Ron’s retirement will be held Sunday, February 15th, 2026 following the 10:30 service. The service will be led by Pastor Ron and Bishop Ali Tote with a retirement lunch to follow. |

| Knitting Club meets the first and third Tuesdays from 1 pm – 3 pm. All are welcome, even beginner knitters! Please enter through the south entrance. Donations of crochet hooks, knitting needles and patterns for mitts and scarves are welcome! Next meetings are January 6 and 20. |
