“Save The Date”: The Lutheran Campus Ministry Fundraiser supper is set for Saturday evening, October 3rd with reception at 5 pm & supper at 6:00pm at Smiley’s Buffet in Saskatoon. Come to hear how the ministry of post-Secondary students is evolving and growing. You can enjoy a great meal at Smiley’s, fellowship, entertainment and have the opportunity to offer your prayers, stewardship and support. Keep an eye out for tickets to be made available at Summer’s end.
Sept 19 LuMinHoS WALKATHON. Starting at Zion Lutheran at 10 am; pledge forms are on the LuMinHoS website and in the Narthex.  
“Save the Date:”  The Lutheran Anglican Women are hosting a day of retreat, “Orienting Ourselves Towards God,” a time of contemplative and centering prayer led by The Rev. Ana Gheyssen, Deacon in the Anglican Church of Canada. Redeemer Lutheran Church, Saturday, October 31, 9:30 – 4:30. Handbells will meet Thursday, September 10th at 10 am in the Chapel.
On Sunday, September 27th, the Saskatoon Centre of the Royal Canadian College of Organists will be hosting an international artist performing at Knox United Church at 7 pm.  More details can be found on the poster at the back of the Narthex.  Admission is by donation (suggested $25/adult).

    Since I have had to miss attending worship for a few Sundays recently, I really appreciate at least seeing the weekly printed announcements in order to keep up a little with what is going on at Zion. Thanks so much!
