There are many ways to give back this Advent and Christmas Season. At Zion, we continue to support many great organizations. You can read through our giving focuses below.
We also continue to support the Lighthouse in donating much needed socks during these cold winter months. There is a basket in the Narthex for collecting. The Mitten Tree is also set up for donations in the Narthex.
Our focus for Advent is the Food Bank. We recommend doing all of the shopping in one trip due to COVID-19 regulations. Donated goods can be dropped off in the bins in the Narthex at Zion. If shopping is an issue, you can also donate directly to the Food Bank or through your Zion envelope, clearly marking your donation “Food Bank”Interval House is our Christmas focus this year. Any donated goods can be dropped off at Zion in the Narthex. Or again, you can donate monetarily through your Zion offering, clearly marking it for the Social Outreach Fund.CLWR Gifts from the Heart is a great way to give a meaningful gift to those on your list. Giving directly to CLWR allows them to send a card for you to share with your loved ones.
