SUNDAY SCHOOL
Welcome to Sunday School!
All kids ages 3 to Grade 12 are welcome. There will be music, games, crafts and snacks. We are looking forward to an exciting year with excellent teachers and leaders. We would be very happy to have you and your children involved with us.
Parents are asked to bring their children to the gymnasium at 10:00 am. We will also need the parents to fill out a registration form for their children at this time.
We currently have 5 classes:
Preschool,
Kindergarten to grade 2,
grade 3 to grade 5,
Junior Youth (grade 6 – Grade 8 )
and Senior Youth (Grade 9 – Grade 12).
Sunday School starts with singing for all ages. The kids then follow their “shepherds” and teachers to their classroom where they will hear a story. They will experience that learning about the love of
Jesus is fun. Together we will grow in our relationship with Jesus.
Plan on staying for potluck lunch after the 11:00am worship service. Thank you to the Parish Life Committee for planning this excellent lunch and for the chance to visit with all our friends. Don’t miss out on all the fun!

Youth Ministry
Attention Zion youth and families!
Zion youth and family programming will begin again in September. Junior Youth (grades 6- 8 ) meets regularly once a month on Tuesday evening. Senior Youth (grades 9-12) has traditionally met once a month on Friday evening with opportunities to get to know other Lutheran youth from across the city.
There are several specific family events held over the course of each year. Please watch for announcements of events as the year progresses. There are also regular opportunities as well as these specific occasions for youth and families to participate in the life of Zion congregation and the wider community through service and worship. We look forward to seeing you this fall.
